Michele Seymour

My name is Michele and I am a proud Coast Guard wife and mother of two wonderful children. Three years ago, upon enrolling my son into an infant survival swim program, I was quickly amazed by the skills, respect, and confidence my son had gained in such a short period of time. As his training went on my interest in the program became a desire to be an instructor. In 2016, I became a certified survival swim instructor though the Survival Swim Development Network. My passion now is to educate as many people as possible about the leading cause of death in children, DROWNING, and how we can prevent tragedy from sticking. Layered defense plays a key role in keeping our children safe. Together with the PPCD we will save children’s lives as we educate our communities.
