I'm a mother of 4 children. Drowning prevention is important to me because I've learned the hard way that children drown everyday. June 2018, my two year old daughter Anya, drowned in our backyard pool.
My name is Jennifer Witmer. I am from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I am a mother of 3, an 18 year old, a 9 year old and a forever 2 1/2 year old. It's with heavy hearts that we join this mission.
Our son Zane, drowned at my moms house in Florida, only hours after arriving there. My husband Dave and I started the Zane A. Witmer Memorial Foundation in 2017 in his honor. We wanted to educate family, friends, our community and anyone who will listen about drowning prevention and water safety.
